Welcome to the 2024 Connecticut Legislative Candidate Interviews! This year, we are dedicated to providing voters with clear insights into the positions of candidates running for office. Our mission is to facilitate an open dialogue on key issues by asking each candidate the same eight questions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their viewpoints. First we will delve into their primary motivations for running for office. We will also be exploring topics such as COVID-19 vaccine mandates, educational access for unvaccinated children, and the challenges families face with medical care and vaccine exemptions in Connecticut. Additionally, candidates will share their perspectives on the state's medical exemption tracking database and their stance on restoring and introducing vaccination exemptions.
We hope these interviews help you make an informed decision as you head to the polls!
