Stop the Regional CDC Power Grab —
Support the GRACE Act

In recent days, Department of Public Health Commissioners from Connecticut, Maine, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Vermont have met to discuss creating a regional approach to CDC vaccine policy.

This is unprecedented and deeply troubling. These commissioners are unelected bureaucrats who believe they can override the authority of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and create a DeFacto “CDC” for the Northeast. This would take vaccine policy decisions out of the hands of accountable, federally guided leadership and place them into the hands of regional officials who are not directly answerable to the people.

We believe this effort is both dangerous and undemocratic. It is being done quietly, during a time when parents are focused on back-to-school transitions, so that most families don’t even realize what’s happening.

SIGN THE CTRAMM PETITION TO OPPOSE THE REGIONAL CDC

The GRACE Act: A National Response

That is why we strongly support the GRACE Act (Guaranteeing Religious Accommodation in Education Act), introduced with the backing of Representative Greg Steube (FL).
The GRACE Act will:
  • Protect families’ rights to religious accommodations in education.
  • Push back against regional and state-level attempts to override federal standards.
  • Restore a basic freedom that has been eroded in recent years.
  • Learn about the G.R.A.C.E. Act here.
This legislation is set to be introduced in Congress, and it needs immediate national attention and support.

What You Can Do

We are calling on every American, in every state, to take action:
  1. Contact your Congressman and Senators today. Tell them you do not support this regional CDC approach and that you want them to stand against it.
  2. If you live in a conservative state, it is especially critical that your representatives hear from you. Ask them to support the GRACE Act and help bring national momentum to this legislation.
  3. Share this message. Most people don’t know this regional CDC effort is happening. The more we spread the word, the harder it will be for unelected officials to push it through unnoticed.

CTRAMM is working tirelessly to:
  • Expose this regional CDC effort and stop unelected commissioners from consolidating power.
  • Build national support for the GRACE Act to ensure religious freedom in education is respected and protected.
  • Mobilize parents, families, and citizens across all states to speak up, contact their elected representatives, and demand accountability.

Now is the time to act. Please, make your voice heard. Contact your representatives and tell them:
  • No to a Regional CDC
  • Yes to the GRACE Act
Together, we can stop this dangerous power grab and protect medical freedom for our children and families.

Template to SUPPORT G.R.A.C.E Act and OPPOSE Regional CDC approach

Subject Line (suggested): Oppose Regional Vaccine Policy Overreach and Support the G.R.A.C.E. Act

Dear [Governor / Commissioner / Representative / Senator / Lieutenant Governor / Congressman],

I am writing to express my deep concern about the recent meeting of Department of Public Health Commissioners from Connecticut, Maine, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Vermont to discuss a regional approach to CDC vaccine guidance.

This action is unprecedented, dangerous, and undermines the authority of the duly appointed and confirmed federal leadership at the Department of Health and Human Services. Creating a de facto regional “CDC” composed of unelected officials circumvents the checks and balances of our system and strips away accountability to the people.

Parents and families across this region already face high levels of concern regarding public health and childhood development. Many of us are alarmed that, while families are preoccupied with the start of the school year, unelected commissioners are attempting to quietly consolidate power over critical vaccine policy decisions. This not only threatens parental rights but also undermines public trust in health institutions.

I urge you to:
  1. Publicly oppose any attempt by state commissioners to form a regional body that overrides or circumvents the CDC and HHS.
  2. Affirm your commitment to protecting parental rights, medical freedom, and transparency in public health decision-making.
  3. Support legislation such as the GRACE Act (Guaranteeing Religious Accommodation in Education Act) to ensure families are protected against coercive mandates.
We need our elected leaders to protect the rights and freedoms of their constituents, not allow unelected bureaucrats to rewrite federal guidance at the regional level.

I respectfully request that you take immediate action to oppose this regional vaccine policy initiative and make your position known to the public.

Thank you for your time and your service.

Sincerely,
[Your Full Name]
