CTRAMM Board Meeting January 6th, 2022 
Called to order at 9:00 PM

1. Board Roles and Committees:

    2. Fundraising Outside of Organization

    3. County Liaisons

  • -  Need 2 liaisons per county (14 total)
  • -  Meetings on 2nd and 4th Thursdays in February/March/April
  • -  Roles: educate residents within county on who their representation is
    and how to reach out, lead door knocking campaign, distribute print
    information
  • -  Possibly add as moderators during session or start county groups

    5. Moderator Protocols
- Decline requests that do not meet the following:
- Use extra discretion with profiles from different countries
- Post Approval
  • -  Cannot contain false information
  • -  Cannot contain flag words (vaccine, mask, COVID-19, etc.)
  • -  Many posts can be declined with feedback if it is a question that has
    been answered repeatedly or very specific to that person.
  • -  If declined, let the poster know why with a personal message to
    make them feel like they are not being censored.

ADVISORY BOARD
Aaron McCool - Legislative
Kristen Yousef - Private Referral Network
Gabrielle Sellari - Education
Mindy Pafundi - Social Support/Code of Conduct/Event Support
Working in collaboration with HCCT and ICCT
  • Legislative spreadsheet for 2023 session
  • Many legislators leaving on both sides

Petition: 23,528 signatures
  • Focus on print material to hand out (business cards?)

County Groups
  • Need to assign moderators and admins to each county
  • Kristen will work on assigning leaders to groups 

Canvassing Project
  • Focus on mental health of students

Facebook
  • Post approval turned off through session
  • Posts being flagged even if not approved
  • Too many comments in feed that get flagged or inappropriate
  • Use Admin Assist: removes a post or turns off commenting, can put in keywords for posts to remove immediately, helps admins to moderate activity

Email List
  • Recruit people to sign up for email
  • Add pop-up to website to encourage people to sign up

Home Show at Mohegan Sun: February 18th - February 20th
  • Booth for CTRAMM to spread awareness?
  • Information about legislation
  • Focus on mental health of children

Annual Report
  • Kate will finish this weekend 
  • Kristen will review/edit when finished

Harlem Wizards
  • Susan from Parents Choice is working on separate event to include all children regardless of medical status
  • Kristen will work on action alert to email Harlem Wizards and Griffin Health, also post on social media to call them out on discrimination
  • Work with Jeannie on talking points

Soleil Community Acupuncture Event
  • Postponed until February 5th due to impending weather

Upcoming Event: Yousef Tae Kwan Do Parent’s Night Out
  • Saturday, March 5th at 4:30 - 7:30 PM
  • Recommended a ges: 5-12
  • Bring your own dinner
  • Cost: $40/1 child, $30/2nd child, $20/3rd child
  • 3 Hours of Tae Kwon Do, Dodgeball, Game, etc.

Opening Day: February 9th
  • No plans for rally on opening day
  • We need to save days for when there are public hearings that require our presence in large numbers

Connecticut Residents Against Medical Mandates was originally formed on Facebook in December 2020 as Connecticut Residents Against Covid19 Vaccine Mandates, since social media giants are shutting down movements like ours, in March we incorporated, changed our group name, and built this website for our Facebook following of over 17,000 members and counting!
